Which Came First, The Bible Or The Church?

I was listening to a Catholic Answers podcast, and I hear something interesting with regard to the Bible.

I have been involved in discussion with regard to Sola Scriptura. John Martingnoni from Catholic Answers said something like this:

When was the birthday of the Church? Most of us would say when Christ died on the Cross. But Pentacost was the "coming out party" of the Church.

At Pentacost, St. Paul was Saul of Tarsus, a Pharisee who observed the stoning of St. Stephen, the first martyr. So one of the most prolific Scripture writers was not even a Christian!. He joined the Church first then wrote the Epistles.
