but i still feel really crappy about it all. as an aside, i actually lost my job at mcdonald's because i screamed at a man for slapping his child across the face for not wanting a burger but for wanting chicken mcnuggets. he had a welt with a handprint on his cheek and i flipped out. i was 16 at the time and that was the first job i got fired from. i've softened my delivery somewhat in retrospect.
Penni's my hero. I am a fairly non-confrontational person in real life (you'd never guess it from some of my blog entries). To be able to intervene in a situation with strangers, some of whom are capable of anything to protect a child shows serious, God-grounded courage. That put a grin on my face. Thanks, Peni.
PS: I heard that Penni's Restaurant makes a mean barbeque. It's happening tonight (Aug 4, 2005) from 5:00pm to 9:00pm or until the food runs out.
PPS: How close is cologne to Princeton? My sister lives in that area, and I heard the food was great at Penni's restaurant. :)
